Pen drives, also known as flash drives, or memory sticks, are used for the transfer of files from one computer to another, just like a floppy disk, but has far greater capacity.
Floppies have 1.44MB
Pen drives may be had in the following sizes ( in MB )
32, 64, 128, 512,
And in these sizes also ( in GB )
1, 2, 4, 8,(just starting to hit the stores)
A 16GB model is slated for mid-year release, with 32, 64 and 128 GB models coming coming every 6 to 8 months.
As you can see, they have made the floppy obsolete.
