I took clomid from 4-9th day and I got posotive result on opk for three consecutive days from 13-15th. After that I didnt get surge for 3 days so I stopped testing.

My question is that with clomid do you ovulate for more than one day or were these false positves? Or do you ovulate just for one day and during that time more than one eggs are released?

My cycle is usually 28-29 days long.

Clomid CAUSES false positives on opks. When using clomid you should not start testing with OPK until 1 week after the last tablet. You ovulate only once but more than 1 egg can be released. Once the egg (or eggs) is released it lives for only 6-24hours.

I am using chlomid as well to help me ovulate & increase my chances of getting pregnant. As said in a previous response & as directed by my gyno, you will want to start using the ovulation kits 1 week after your period ends. As a general rule, ovulation usually occurs approximately 14 days after the 1st day of your period; however, that isn't always true for everyone. With my experience, when I start the ovulation testing 1 week after the last day of my period, I can tell that I'm ovulating based on the ovulation test its self. I can't remember the brand I've been using off hand, but I can tell a big difference in the color of the lines that indicate when your ovulating & when your not. Hope this helps & Good Luck
