The first time I was wounded I was riding in the main cupola of a M113 APC, Armored Personnel Carrier we were coming up over a berm when I saw a 122 shell sticking up in the ditch and started screaming for my driver to turn. It was too late and the track started settling to earth seemly taking 10 minutes to settle back down. I remember looking up and watched the infantry scurry for cover, as usual all the gooks had already disappeared (we figured they knew where the booby traps were placed and would disappear when we were going to get hit). It was early morning already in the upper seventies but not warm enough for the dew to burn off. You could smell the ox feces being burnt like fire wood, offset by sandalwood incense. A crow was circling the A/O. and I remember the nasty taste from the morning’s C rations when there was huge blast. I had been sitting in the cupola atop the APC and now was the king of a flat sandy clearing 60 feet away. My glasses were gone as was my vision I could only see three of four inches; the flash had gotten the eye brows. There was no noise, no screams, no guns firing, NOTHING. That was when I knew I was dead. Since I did not have to worry about getting hurt, I just sat there. When Bill and another friend tackled me. It scared the shi* out of me. I kept watching them trying to figure whether to be pissed or thankful. They kept moving their mouths but were not making any noise. Doc showed up and since I could not figure what was going was I waiting to move into the light or was I dreaming? He suddenly slapped the **** out of me, threw me an M-14, and wrote me a note to start defending the area before I really was killed. Then I realized the blast had blown out my ears, they eventually recovered. I was bleeding out of every orifice even my eyes, ears, butt. Under heavy fire I made it back to the track finding everyone dead. The explosion had blown all three cupolas off and away, my driver and several boys catching a ride were sucked inside and instantly killed. If you know tracks the road wheels were gone the body split but strangely the tracks were still together and sitting in place. They picked up pieces inside the track for days!

The last time I was wounded which was long before you were born, was on May 10 1971. I see the Vietcong stick grenade (looks like the German potato masher hand grenade) except it is made from wood spitting smoke and turning end over end; bouncing on top of the APC before bouncing into Doc's lap and detonating; blowing off the top of his head; seriously wounding Tex; penetrating my lower back and kidney, going from the rear of my right knee exiting through the knee cap and through my right elbow, ring finger, little finger and wrist. I was unable to return fire in the conventional manner. You would be surprised how many lose their bodily functions, or you having to contend with someone in a thousands parts or half their entails dripping off your face. Hold down an 18 year boy who yesterday was horse playing and dreaming of going home and buying his first car. You watch a medic boost (over medicate) a soldier so he will die peacefully. Watch an enemy shot a friend over and over until there is nothing but mush. You go into a river to retrieve a body, the flesh falls off and creatures are inside the body. A good friend is burnt so badly you have to use a shovel to get all of him. In these situations on the typical pain scale of one to ten being some one pulled your teeth with a set of grass clippers.

I remember both times all the air I had every breathed flowing out of my body. Pain so intense you saw white stars, but yet when you scotched taped your finger back on your hand you felt nothing. I remember Bill reaching down picking pieces of bone (my knee) out of his arm; the both of us laughing so hard because you could see light through my knee.

Thirty five years latter it is, funny I will be operated on the doctors will pick long slivers of wood out and not knowing the VC handgrenade were sometimes made of wood filled wit hundreds of ball bearing, trash it. (I want one for a souvenir). When my son was small, he would pick shrapnel out of my back; I was always self conscious over all or any of the holes. Each of these holes always feels like they are asleep.

I pulled this out for the second time in 35 years it reads:
"For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in armed conflict against the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong communist aggressors in the Republic of Vietnam. On 10 May 1971, while on a long range reconnaissance patrol in Ankee providence his men came under an intense enemy attack. The initial attack wounded Sergeant Adams and several other personnel. Refusing medical aid, he commenced giving first aid to the other wounded. At the same time, he directed his remaining forces into a defensive position. When the medical helicopter came, he chose to remain behind to make room for these more seriously wounded. During the ensuing fighting which would include face to face combat and in spite of his wounds and disregard to his own safety, Sergeant Adams continued to defend his position. Sergeant ADAMS 's decisive actions in rendering first aid, directing his personnel, while in defense of their position, while exposed to enemy fire, was directly responsible for the saving of his personnel. His devotion to duty, courage under fire, exemplary professionalism and outstanding leadership were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Army".

Typical Army, I rushed to set-up a perimeter or else we would have been over ran, there was no room on the copters and I had to fight our men ARVN’s off the copters as they would fight actually firing on each other for a chance to evacuate the area. Five or six would be sitting on the skid I would have to knock them off with butt of my rifle. Some dusters carried an old M14 or baseball ball bat for these rough times; they would not even care who might be a passengers. mom/ dad wife or even their kids.
What did I feel? Anger; my motto became and still is KILL THEM ALL and LET GOD SORT THEM OUT!

You can find out more about natural hemorrhoids cure here http://curehemorrhoid.info
Diarrhea can contribute to hemorrhoid formation because the bowel undergoes pressure strains due to the condition. Undue pressure on the veins that make up internal hemorrhoidal structures can worsen existing damage. Internal hemorrhoids are not visible, unless they proplapse (protrude) from the anus, either constantly or during a bowel movement. If this is the case, then you have a grade III or IV internal hemorrhoid. If the protrusion is on the anal verge or the area surrounding the anus, then its likely an external hemorrhoid. Reducing pressure from issues of diarrhea and constipation will help. Not straining during a bowel movement, not lifting heavy objects, not sitting for extended periods, all will help.

An external hemorrhoid is simply a vein located at the anal verge, the wall of which as weakened and protruded. Don't push on it, this will only increase pressure and worsen it. The body has to repair the vein wall and rebuild the integrity. This takes time, perhaps weeks, if all goes well. Use sitz baths and over-the-counter medications such as pads or creams to provide symptom relief in the interim. These won't solve the issue long term, but will give the tissue a better chance at self-healing.

Internal hemorrhoids are a different matter and require more intervention. Your best bet is to educate yourself about the condition, its causes and what options there are to treat it both short and long term. Don't ignore it though, hemorrhoids tend to become chronic in nature, lasting years or decades in some cases.

HEY! That's a little unfair!
I WAS a fighter pilot who ejected into a volcano after being shot down. And crawling through a jungle with no legs or shoes is no picnic.
You try eating bugs for 16 weeks just to make it back to civilisation!

Failing that - The time my knee socket popped out!

Had my tonsils removed when I was 28 and then got an infection, bed ridden for 6 weeks and took home a carrier bag full off drugs, that I had to take with food but could not swallow, so very difficult.

Have also broken my collar bone 5 times and dislocated it as well which is a different pain, but the tonsils have to be the worst, although I am now glad not to have tonsillitis all the time.

I dont know what it was. It wasn't pain && I haven't really spoken of it to anyone but now. But once I was sleeping, and I wasnt dreaming, just deep sleep. And I suddenly just started shivering and I jerked my arm. I felt the need to wake up but I couldn't because my eyes wouldn't open and I felt as though I was still in the dream even though their came no images in my head. And I know this sounds stupid but I felt like someone was trying to take over my body or something. So I got scared and started saying 'Allahu Akbar' I was still like half asleep I guess. And then finally I woke up and I was sweating and shivering. Scary for me at the time, it was a quite a long time ago.I dont know what was wrong with me. I know it isn't a dream but w/e lol. Thats the closest answer I could think of to your question :S

(Giving birth...Wins hands down!)
But not including that...2 things.
When I was 14 a window got stuck at school, I tried to shut it but it wouldn't budge, I asked my friend on the otherside to push it but he pushed the glass instead of the frame and his hands went straight through it, A BIG chunk of falling glass took a hole/gash out of the top of my thigh, about 5by5 centimetres big, 157 stitches inside and out (It just missed my ligament, you could see it through the hole. OUCH
OR...
In August last year, I was rushed to hospital with Meningitis.
The pain of that headache, and when I moved my eyes or looked at light shot through my head like a firework. That was bad, words can't describe how painful that was!!

Childbirth. And for a close second, acute appendicitis. Had to be rescued by air ambulance since I collapsed miles from anywhere. The pain was mind blowing.

I've smashed a leg bad, and broke fingers, coughed so bad I cracked ribs, broke my chin, acute ear infections and had a baby. Nothing for me however compares to an abcess in an incoming wisdom tooth which came in so squint I couldn't open my mouth and they had to break my jaw to remove it.
