Depends how fast you are going.
However the correct answer is you cannot reach the sun. Not only do we not have the technology, you would burn up before you got there.

See if you travel by the speed of a rocket which is around 20,000 kms/hour roughly and our Sun being 93 million miles away it will take you around 310 days or so..you can do the math yourself..so it takes almost a year..no human can ever reach near the sun because of high temperatures and a very harsh solar flares.. Only some of the spaceships specially designed to bear the heat of the sun have reached there..Ok... ithink this must satisfy your query.. if you want to ask please go ahead.. iwill be happy to give you more info.

Yep it is going to...until eventually... In 5 Billion years time, humanity defies each and every of the possibilities (same to immediately) and receives to work out the sunlight die...what ought to we do ? properly if we get to 5 Billion years, at our contemporary fee of tech boom we will be some kinda tremendous beings who make universe's and with a click of the palms wo what ever we like ! so we may have re fuled the sunlight some time previous made earth right into a museum of a few variety and all lengthy gone God complicated and dramatic. So if it dies we wont care cos were all lengthy gone, or it stay continuously as a trinket from our previous, like some musty previous fort does immediately.

The distance to the sun is 93 million miles. Traveling in your space ship at 1 million miles per hour, it would take you 93 hours to get there. Don't forget to bring a bottle of sunscreen, SPF 1,000,000,000.
