Hi Terry -

As we approach menopause, our hormones are all over the place - up one hour, down the next. This makes our cycles wildly unpredictable.

So the norm for perimenopausal periods is... irregular. Annoying, I know.

depends on age. I'm 35, and wasn't in menopause. They couldn't really pin point anything I told them to stop my periods so I had endometerial ablasion due to only stopping for about 3-4 days a month for a yr.
I'd tell your Dr.

Yes,and they can also be farther apart. It could be a syptom of peri-menopause. It could also be a sign of harmonal imbalance. See your doctor!

I'm not sure.......see a doctor. Can't be too careful when it comes to women's cycle.
