At the rate he and the Suns are playing I would say it is likely. The guy is a great assist man and hitting better they 50% and almost 50% from 3.

Here are his current stats:

Steve Nash

FG % 53.7
3pt % 49.8
Asst per game 11.6
Pts per game 19.6

As much as I would like to see Lebron win the MVP it will probably be 1 or 2 more years before Lebron wins his first MVP.

The Way the Phoenix Suns are playing right now is the best since the days since they got to the NBA Finals. I think with Nash, they can win the whole thing this year with Amare healthy this year. So yes he will bag the MVP and possibly the MVP of the NBA Finals too and the Championship trophy, a first in Phoenix History.

Yes as much as I hate him (because he is not in a purple and gold jersey) he is the most facilitating player in the NBA. Of course alot of it has to do with his teammates being able to hit their shots. If you put him on a team with underdeveloped players such as the Knicks or a team like that he wouldn't even be close to being the same player he would have to take the game over instead of involving the team. But Yes I think baring any unforseen injury or something like that he will win his third MVP.

At one point I though Gilbert Arenas was a good front runner. I now don't think it's possible for Nash to loose it.

The Suns current style of play gives him so many opportunities to score and make assists. His numbers will always be nice.

Look for him to win number 3.

It is amazing to see Nash play. But I doubt he makes a 3peat this year. The field is so tough. Could be LeBron, Kobe, Arenas or Nowitski this year.

It's still too early to tell but if Nash continues his amazing display...he'll win it again. And deservedly so.

Unless something unusual happens, he has it in the bag.
