I don't. When I can do someone a favor that they cant do for themselves and it will really help them out, I'm thrilled! I never expect anything in return on favors like that.

When I do someone a favor like lend them money because they forgot theirs or they are broke, I expect a hook up sometime in the future when they are doing good and I could use a little extra push.

I try to surround myself with both types of people.

I do not like doing things for selfish people who are all about themselves. Sometimes I do, but I later regret it. Why should I give somebody a leg up who will not help pull when I'm trying to get to the top as well? I know many people in life like that and am truly disgusted by them.

The other day my mom wouldn't be a co-signer on my sisters STUDENT LOAN that she would be paying back 100% because 'what do I (she) get out of it?'... Ain't that something?...

No, when I do a favor for someone it's from the heart
not for gain.

I am a strong believer in Karma.

I was raised that if you are going to do a favor for someone...

1.) You don't expect ANYTHING in return
2.) If you loan something don't expect it to ever come back and don' t loan anything if it will hurt you or your family
3.) Charma is a m f'r. and you'd better watch out if you are doing something for the wrong intentions.

You reap what you sow!

No. Some people do: it's just to boost their ego. Niceties can become a way of life, without motives -- just genuine care for others.

None whatsoever! If I can help them out and it is in my capacity, I do it. That's it! It is not done with expecting something back in return or thinking that they will come in handy some day.

Most of the time, I hope I do not. However, it is human instinct to do so once in a while. We are not perfect.

No. I'm an altruistic and good person.
I don't believe in doing something in order to profit from it.
