Would you be asking how to convert a "protected" wma file. Like a song from a "legal" file sharing program. There is no way to convert a protected wma file. Now you can get jet audio pro, play the wma file on one player and record it in mp3 format using jet audio. Its slow and painful if you are trying to several songs. Just record it in "stereo mix" right off the sound card and it will sound just as good as the wma file.

first off, lot of people believe that changing the extension .wma to .mp3 turns it into mp3, but this is way wrong. its simply wma with an mp3 shirt, if you like. So converting wmv to mp3 is no big deal, but you'll need software to do that. Mp3 is not free or open, so there is this thing about being eligible to create mp3s and such. Software like Audacity can help you out, or you can use plain converters. You'll find them in google easily. Just enter your wma address in them and convert, you'll get an mp3 with the same name and quality.
try this, i think youll like it : http://www.wma-mp3.com/
