what kind of car?
if you have an aluminum cylinder head and the threads on the plugs are galled your in trouble (big).
if it's just that they have been in there forever and a day you can sometimes work them out a little at a time with a good penetrating oil such as PB Blaster

Use some pb blaster. Of all of the looseners that is the best. Also try using a longer tool for more leverage. If you have backed them out a little spray the penetrating oil on the plugs and work them back and forth. That way you work the oil into the threads and it will make the plugs come right out. If you are using a ratchet get a pipe or use a socket and extension that fits over the ratchet to make it longer. Use slow steady pressure and you won't break the plugs.

Its attainable that the timing can get screwed up. If the motor vehicle has problems beginning without the distant, it extremely is extremely helpful to look into having the starter checked. If its a ninety 9 and the starter hasnt ever been replaced you are able to guess its nearing the tip of its existence. If it starts off only large with a key, and basically has hassle with the distant, its time to have that gadget checked. distant starters, fairly after industry ones, dont have an somewhat long existence span, maximum are basically coated for a 365 days via the producer. the two way they simply dont final long. If its working good, the wires could be shorting out and want replaced. only have it looked at. I cant think of it seizing the engine, or ruining the motor vehicle till it have been heavily malfunctioning. yet i will see the timming getting thrown from it no longer working good.

Plenty of penetrating oil and plenty of patience. I like to use Gunk Liquid Wrench and pour it on liberally. Then work the plug out gradually by turning it out a little, then add some more pentrating oil, turn it back in again, then out again and repeat this sequence until the plug turn freely. If you add the oil in between out turn and in turn the oil has a chance to penetrate faster and deeper into the thread.

Penetrating oil (WD-40) spray on heavy leave over night remove plugs, they don't break in the block, worst thing you might do is break the porceline.
