to lose a dear thing, but still gain something from that?

It is possible. Remember when my other account got deleted? I loved that account. I thought my life was going to end. I thought that I would go back into depression. I thought that some higher power was out to get me and make me miserable...
But an hour or two later after a brief crying session, I was able to look at it through new eyes: I wouldn't be as addicted to Y!A as before. I wouldn't have the "too many friends" situation again. I would probably get some work down.
Even though now I spend most of my time on 360, I'm still grateful that my misery account was deleted. It just gave me new perspective, and I always look for that...

Plus, you have to search for the good even in the bad-- or what seems to be the bad... Well, that's what I do at least. If you don't, then you don't learn.

Sometimes nothing can make up for loosing something dear to you... It is more likely that this will be the case... For me anyway.

If we look closely enough...we can learn from every single thing that happens to us in our lives...unfortunately, it is through the most painful and disconcerting events that we learn the most.
