Israel did have one woman President Ms. Golda Meir, I suppose.

The "President" in Israel is a strictly ceremonial role and it is an appointment. The real head of state is the "prime minister" and Israel HAS elected a woman. Golda Meir.
As to why Americans haven't elected a woman, to that I say... look at the options they've been given. (My point bing is that you can't elect a woman president if none are candidates.)

Everywhere in world, equality of Men and Women is a big issue. All democratic nations saying we have given equal right to all but in reality, there is partiality in between men and women. It is a reality, by nature women have to face problems from beginning of life. By nature, they have built weak. They only can born a child. It is a reality almost every women want to be women atleast once. If she became mum, she must have to give full time to her child till the age of 15 atleast. Also, starting from age of 13-14 she have to face some physical phenomen, which take 2-7 days time in every month to became completely physically fit. This is the one reason why they have not become President in country like America and Israel. In developing countries, they have some other social reasons too.

However, in Isreal they elect a Prime Minister, not president. Golda Meir was only the 3rd female leader in world history. She was born in Russia and grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin..............that's USA for the enquiring terrorists.

Although women & minorities (Black, Latino, Asian, Natives) can become president, the major parties don't run them for the top seat out of fear the public won't go for a non-white male.

because both countries know about women very well. they call the women "blonde". Presidents can use women for rape fun while they are in Govt. Dont you see what israeli president and B Clinton did with their woman employees?
