Give agencies with immediate or near 2 months assistance. Moving from lame SC to more diverse Seattle. Better schools for my son entering pre-K. Need help with best place for scenic views of water also. (Living close to water)

It will probably be hard to find a government subsized building anywhere near the water. Personally, I'd rather raise a family in housing that is farther away from the water, but in a safer neighborhood. A neighborhood that is more family friendly with good schools. I would try North Seattle. Perhaps the Ballard, Greenwood, or Crown Hill. All of these areas are within a 10-15 minute drive to the water, depending on traffic.
