A 7-game series, first of all I doubt that it would even go that far, because Id pick the Mavs to win it by 5.
But if it were so, I think Dallas would win it. Dallas has good offense and good defense, while Phoenix has great offense but a somehow lousy defense. Dallas has stars who can shoot the ball without assists (Dirk, Howard, Terry, Stackhouse), while Phoenix has only Nash because other guys would need his playmaking to score. So Dallas wins the series.
Now if it were Dallas and San Antonio, that would be very tough.

Both teams are good but what it comes down to is who gets the most stops. The Suns are the best run and gun team, but when Nash is not in the game they struggle on offence. With that being said Nash wont get enough rest for a seven game series. Dallas is the 3rd best defensive team in the league. They have one of the best if not the best bench in the league. And they dont struggle looking for offence. When dirk sits out they go to Josh Howard, Jason Terry, and Jerry Stackhouse. Also Dirk doesn't have to work hard on defence, while Nash will further wearing him down. So in a 7 game series I'd take Dallas in 6

Considering the Mavericks have beaten the Suns each time they played this year this serieas probably doesn't go seven games.
But since you asked, Dallas wins game 7 at home.

I live in Phoenix and Im a huge Suns fan. I think that it is a coin flip, both teams are so good right now and cause each other very difficult matchup problems. I would have to go with my Suns only because Im loyal to them. If I was not a Suns fan I would say its a coin flip to close to call

Everyone is debating who is better, the suns or the mavs. Seems pretty simple to me. Last year, the Suns took the Mavs to 6 games last year WITHOUT Amare! The Suns have only lost 2 games since November 19th. I think there is NO comparison.

Last two season, Suns and Mavericks never got to 7 games. Last season I was hoping for game 7 but damn Mavericks refuse to lose. If this season there is game 7, I'll root for Suns, seen what they've done to the two L.A teams, it seems game 7 is their best game ever.

If it goes to a Game 7, I pick the Mavs. Put the ball in Dirk's hands and let him go to work.
If I was told it was decided in six games or less, then I would bet on the Suns.
