centronix thanks for the answer but I already read that txt file using php. I just need to call that value to update periodically using javascript. Hopefully u can help.

oh yes, you can use php for displaying text file, the file('ur_file.txt') result is string of file 'ur_file.txt'.

there is javascript timer, but there is more easy way to update periodical data. here is a "client pull technic" of html periodicly update:



put the meta tag at html head, and fill the x with time interval in seconds.
