I believe its the bible.... if that is so isn't the fact that the bible has reference to homsexuality proof enough that god exsist? I mean if it was made prior to the US constition, people were a lot smarter durning the constition time why didn't they put some reference to it in that? Was their talk about it and they just didn't care? Did they infact think it was ok for 2 men to marry or 2 women? If so why try to change anything now.

I am sorry but I was not answering your question but I think it important to answer a part of it. I am referring to the part that states "I mean if it was made prior to the US constition, people were A LOT smarter durning the constition time". We are not discussing an evolution/ IQ jump these people as thousands if not millions of others whose only fault if one could call it that is a lack of training or education that was not available to them. I mean look at what is available to you and yet you had seven missed spelled words. I do not mean that to embarrass you I am just trying to make a point hundreds of the kids on here think that people in the Civil War, the thirties even the fifties are actually different than us and one of these differences is we are smarter. I think one particular ting is another belief that people say in WW I, WW II and even the Civil War are in such a time period that they are so distant that nothing that happened can be an influence today. When I informed a bunch of askers that the editor of my local paper is a Daughter of a Confederate Veteran they thought I was crazy. God Bless You, Our Veterans and Our People.

Your question starts off rather well, then degenerates into a bit of a rant - you should have stopped after the first sentence !
The Bible in its present format was first put together in the first century BCE (Old Testament books) and the fifth century CE (New Testament books) so, of course, pre-dates the US constitution by some 1500 years.
If the Bible has a reference to homosexuality (and this is open to interpretation) how is this proof that God exists?
Just because homosexuality is not mentioned in the constitution doesn't mean that it was accepted - it only means it wasn't mentioned. Homosexuality is not mentioned in "Pride and Prejudice" either, but that doesn't prove that Jane Austen was pro-lesbian.

The Bible, whick was ritten over the space of hundreds of years predated the Constitution. Yes, there are references to homosexuality in the Bible, howver, do not take the Bible as literal truth, is clearly is not true history. The Bible teaches it's messages through allegory. The Constitution did not have any refernce to homosexualilty because it was not a widely proactised action duirng the 1780's in colonial America. It's not a question who was smarter. The question was who needed to mention it more. The Arabic culture had many strange beliefs and practises. Homosexual were not a threat then, as they are no threat now. It was not that the law had to step in to regulate homosexuality. It does not need to now, however, many evangelicals believe that they constitute a threat to the family. George Bush is a evangelical. Do I need to say more? Why do they feel that they had to legislate and registrate what goes on in the privacy of the bedroom? The anwer is of course, they don't.

How does the Bible mentioning homosexuality prove that God exists? Are you saying that God can't exist without homosexuality?
And what does the Bible have to do with the Laws of the Constitution? In this country there is supposed to be a separation of church and state...meaning just because the Bible says something is wrong doesn't mean that the law has to agree.

The United States did not write the Bible. God gave marriage to be between a husband and wife. not that a male or female should lust after their own kind.yet they want what God has given to the marriage between a woman and a man , your arguments has separated the two and given them something they can not produce or have right to. is it no wonder there are wars. , go your own way and do not bother me with such arguments.
