Well if he won't admit it to himself and he and his girlfriend are happy together - what does it matter? Perhaps your gaydar is not 100% foolproof?

He is straight until he can accept that he is not which he may never do because he is straight.

Not all men who send off your gaydar are gay. You are not full proof with your desires or your inclinations, I know I have been terribly wrong in the past. You have to understand your gaydar works off of your suspicions and desires and has nothing truly to do with this guy. You are looking too intently at everything he does and says in order to determine if he would accept you advances because he is what you want. It is not about him! It's about you and what you want!

Stereo typing gender and sexual identity is a huge mistake that is made by many people. Sexuality goes far beyond all ranges of the scale and only one that knows is the person themselves.

Forget your crush and move on, you can be his friend but don't decide who he is that just is not fair on your part.

Let him be who he is.

Some straight guys are just GAGFI - Gives A Gay First Impression.
I know a few guys who "act" gay, but aren't. Genuinely aren't.

This reminds me of one of the funniest ever editions of Howard Cruse's comic strip "Wendell," which used to appear in The Advocate back in the 1980s. In this one particular edition of that strip, Wendell took Oliver's son, Farley, to McDonald's for a snack and, on the way out, Farley said to Wendell, "Ronald McDonald is gay." So Wendell replied, "Now, now, Farley. Flambouyant clothes are not necessarily a sign of, .......................................... "

Come on! On what are you basing your assessment of whether or not your friend is gay?
