I can understand how once a day dosing is very lifestyle friendly and convenient. Drug companies are also mindful of this and are always looking for ways to formulate their medications into once a day doses. Unfortunately, some medications need to be taken twice or three times a day because they don't last the whole day on a single dose. In order to maintain a consistent drug level in the body, we have to take the medication as often as the drug level drops below the therapeutic point. If a drug only lasts 6 hours, then it needs to be taken 4 times a day to get round the clock effectiveness. The best way to remember to take medications is around meal times.

I feel that it's better to eat them all at once to get it over and done with, rather than spliting into 2, which is twice the trouble you have to endure. And yes, given a choice I would prefer not to take medication at all. Sometimes it's better to, as medication speeds up your recovery.

Yes. I fought taking medications until I could barely move. Now, I take them only when I want to call 911 or go to heaven.
