if he has exceptionally good qualification like IAS ,IPS then looks don't matter in such cases. average job then looks too make a difference. mostly in our country parents arrange the marriage so the first priority will be educational qualification and the job. then comes the family, looks,etc. but these days the brides r particular abt looks, sense of humour, dressing etc etc the list goes on.

First, which country? To look for a partner it depends on individual, some goes for looks, some goes for heart..so i wld say neither agree nor disagree.

yes to some extent looks does matter but other qualiies like his sensitivity towards his partner his ability to take resposibility and his social & financial status, matters more for a woman.
he should be a complete man not just a good looking man.

atleast she only looks at his face........but in our country the first thing the bride groom looks at is huge dowry with a good face.......which is worse than what she is looking at........

no...it should be his personality and morals...but he should be decent looking as well... but just good looks and personality clash doesn't make it a good match.
