I feel like a lot more people have been calling it quits lately.
a lot of people are cheating.
i've noticed this...and then my relationship just ended..i was going to be married to the man of my dreams in 3 months..but now he's not in love with me all of a sudden and has feelings for his ex wife.....
is it the season...the weather...what the hells going on?

No you just despressed because of what happened to you. Thats is why you let all the couples pass you and you concenrate your vision on something that you focused on.....break ups, couples that dont look happy and about to call it quits, divorses.
It may be a season and a weather, it may be sociaty changes, economy whatever reasons may be. Life goes on and you need to move on. He wasnt a right man for you and Thanks God you had a chance to see it before you got married with that man. Just look at it as something special out there is waiting for you. He probably cried his *** off when he found out you about marry some prick. Look around yourself. Enjoy life. Start it all over again, like new years resolution. Please move on. Do YOURSELF a favor and stop being negative. The world is not going to the end. There are a lot out there that are inlove and is seriously valueing this feeling.

Oh my gosh! I was browsing thru these questions and when I read yours I thought "I know dang well I didn't ask this but I could have pretty much word for word. Just a week or so ago I was thinking "wow alot of people are cheating and breaking up here lately". Then I read an article Saturday that said the first of the year is called the breakup season because it's when alot of people look back and evaluate their lives and do whatever they need to do in order to be happy (such as end an unsatisfying relationship). I thought thank God my relationship is finally going great now and we're happy! Yeah right...I just found out 3 days ago that my man has been lying to me for almost the entire 2 yrs we've been together. He's been begging his exwife to give him another chance the whole time. She hasn't ...she's remarried and has been for 11 yrs...but she's told people she can have him back whenever she wants and she feels sorry for the "fool" who's in love with him. He hasn't technically cheated...but I still feel betrayed. He's out of town until Friday so I haven't been able to discuss this with him cuz I won't do this by phone. But looks like I have no choice but to break things off myself...I just don't think I can trust him anymore. Some people just never learn to get over the past I think. Always thinking if only I could go back instead of allowing themselves to grieve for the love lost and take whatever steps necessary to heal and move on. Then they end up hurting anyone else they get involved with. They should have a tatoo on their foreheads saying "DANGER- Don't fall for me I'm still in love with HER" :(

I've noticed this too. It isn't the season or the weather. It is the love of the world collapsing. Times have changed, and the only thing being advertised is ease and speed. People either want it done fast, or their way with ease. Love is something you have to be patient on, and it is something that won't die. People aren't very patient, and people will eventually die. It is people... nothing else.

He's still clinging to a woman whom he didn't get along enough to stay married. If he's got this kind of a problem, then it's better not to have him at all. It's such a painful thing....but the truth can hurt like nothing else.

people seem to change thinking they are going to get something better in life, they are trying to escape what they don't like to get what they do like. people don't want to put the effort in relationships anymore, as sometimes it's easier to move on with someone who doesn't know u than to stay and admit your responsible for some of the problems. think it is caused by our own warped understanding of life.

LOVE...what the hell is LOVE? is there a meaning? people today are different. getting into relationships for the wrong reasons, gettin married for the wrong reasons! im sick of it! everytime i think about people saying--->

makes me really sick! why even say them vows if you dont mean em? i think its not even 50% of marriages end up in a divorce, i think its 70% now! whatever happened to the true meaning of love?
