You seem to be developing some kind of a complex. Yes, I agree it is not necessary to maintain status but it is also necessary that you should not be dependant on others. As long as you are not dependant on others you are maintaining a status already.

LMAO what a fuggin dumb@ss. White people are the race most likely to go bankrupt. Do you actually know how many whites are in debt right now? Who in the hell is complaining right now about every dang thing? At least when we lose our job, it doesn't financially cripple us. Your 24-25 fresh outta college. In a year or two you have a new car and an expensive @ss house(both not payed for). In ten years, you have stocks, all your money in the bank, an investment banker kids, college savings , all kinds of bills, and you still spend like it aint nothing. Then The company goes under, bank go under, stocks drop drastically, and now you have nothing. Because you live beyond your means. No need for the big house , new car, expensive kids gifts. Look at all your pissed off, laid off brethren now. We aren't the ones in panic mood, U ARE!

Money is a very unfortunate invention yet it has become necessary. Money has made people greedy and selfish. It's quite sad that in today's world, money plays very big roles and things get decided not so much on the basis of truth and kindness but on the basis of money.
This is the present situation. Although you, me and many other people may find it hard to accept it, we have no choice at this very moment. Sometimes it is wise to accept things when your ideas are not superior but keep looking for new innovative ways of survival. Who knows, you may come up with something!!!

Keeping up with the Joneses, or 'maintaining status', leads to insatiable dissatisfaction. Get off the treadmill, stop to smell the roses, and spend more time doing the things you truly enjoy with the people you love. After all, when you're on your death bed are you going to wish you'd worked longer hours at the office to fund your shallow competitive lifestyle, or seen more of the people you love?

Money is very important.
Study medicine, or accounting, or law.
(or chemistry or if you are very very smart, physics or computer science.)
"if you want to find enlightenment, you must first have a place to live."
