I ordered some beauty products from Canada on 8 January. I've still not received them. I emailed the company to say I hadn't received them and they said it HAS been shipped. What should I do? Is 8 Jan not that far behind or what? I'm worried now. What are my rights in this situation. Thank you to anyone who can genuinely help me.

If you don't live in canada, it will have to go through custooms and you never know how long that will take... When all else fails...call the company and ask!

Well, I'd wait until the standard 4-6 weeks is up, I ordered stuff off of ebay from canada once, he put it in the mail the next day and I didn't receive it for about 3 1/2 weeks. I think it has something to do with the tighter customs inspections at the border with our increasing security. As long as you have your electronic receipt and bank or credit card statement, even if it can't come through customs, I do believe you can have them return it to sender and get your money back. So one way or another, you'll have your products or money back, it just takes a while.

i have had this before, i took 1month by the time i had recieved what i ordered, did you make sure that the site was genuine?, the best thing to do is take the telephone number if there is one and ring them up to complain! if you still dont get anywhere with that send them more e-mails and threaten them if you dont recieve your order soon you will take it further. i would'nt worry to much at the moment as you should recieve it soon, they may have shipped it out, but before they did that you product could have been out of stock, sorry if this has'nt help i know how fustrating it is! hope you get it soon x

It's not too long yet. The commonly quoted standard is 4 - 6 weeks and it will depend, of course, on how they shipped it. I take it you're in the UK, in which case it may be coming by sea or by air. Hope that helps.

If your package was shipped by any company besides the US Postal Service(I assume you are in the US but not sure), they should have a tracking number for your package that you can track on their web site. Assuming that you paid by credit card, you can always contact the credit card company and dispute the charge for the merchandise with them.

It depends how they have shipped them, if it's by boat then it could be 4-5 weeks, by air still could be up to 3 weeks. I think you will just have to sit and wait, sorry.

There should be a shipping number so that you can folow the progress of the package.

Give it some more time....if you don't get in in a few weeks, call them again and ask for tracking information.....
