He has said had he not known what he does ( does he know anyhing) he would not support Iraq and he has also said Iraq is another Vietnam. Vietnam was not a good thing. Is he grasping for a foothold on the slippery slope?

Blackmule, do not assume you have the right to address me as informally as you have, you may not. I believe Bush to be incompetant if you do not agree with this state why, do not call me names as it does nothing to make you look any more intelligent.

It would be a nice change of pace if he would admit it, and solve the problem as best as he can now. Continue is just a big mistake in a lot of peoples eyes.

Well, obviously the slippery slope presents a difficult ground to get a decent foot-hold. But I digress... Does Bush have the right? Well, he may or he may not. Ooops. sorry I guess that was your question. Yes, "he does know anything." What do I mean by that? I'm not sure. Vietnam was not a good thing but have you eaten any Vietnamese food lately? It's pretty good stuff. I really like the super hot cabbage dish. But oh man it's hotter comin' out than goin' in! whooooo! Sorry that someone called you a name. They probably just Assumed that you were some "liberal junky cheap dumb stupid biatch left wing democrat". And I'm fairly certain those don't all apply. I hope you have a peaceful and joyous day and that some day the day is the same as the day before but different than the next.

How soon you all forget what started this whole damn war. Have you forgotten 9/11? what was he supposed to do, sit back and say don't do that again you naughty boys. It is sad it had to escalate into what it has but you darn sure can't blame President Bush. He, like all other Presidents before and after rely on their ad visors, their hands are actually tied but he has to take the brunt
of the criticism and has done so brilliantly.

Earlier is always better but as they say it is never too late.
Whenever US/Bush take a decision in favour of pullout from Iraq and Afghanistan it will suit the world, not only America. It will be big step towards a peaceful world.
All Americans, joined together, must encourage Bush to take this decision.
Venture through tourism not through invasions.

Admitting mistakes in life is a good thing, even late. "Better late than never" they say.
As for the rightness or wrongness of the Iraq war only time will tell.

After the war was over.
What went wrong out there caught everyone off guard at loss and blurr with what is going on out there in planet of apes.
At least after tracing the faults he really got the guts to admit it instead of bring it back to the graveyards later.
That is what we call a real man who dare to face the lion before getting mauled himself in planet of apes.

He has the right to say what ever he pleases. As do all Americans. That's stated very clearly in the first amendment. The left and the ACLU would have you think differently.

It's never to late to admite you were wrong. This is a free country and that is what they are fighting for is our freedom! I do believe he went about it the wrong way though. We should have gave them a piece of what they gave us the element of suprise and it would be over by now. You don't go tell them hey we are goin to come bomb you and then rebuild your country. Did they ask us? Come on America wake up GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS

Slippery Slope. This whole war is just Juniors way of trying to make up for what Daddy failed to do! (Got Daddy issues? Desperately seeking acceptance? YES!) I can't stand how he's using our military as his personal chess board!

I'm more liberal than conservative, but yes, he does have the right to say it was a mistake. Maybe he just decided that telling the truth was the better of his options.
