What will happen if Indian Muslims embrace Hinduism as a basis for their identity?

Indian Muslims should realise the urgent need for integration in to the main stream to avoid further hatred and isolation. In fact, one can accept and even practice Hinduism and Islam simultaneously. After all God is neither a Muslim nor a Hindu. One should understand this simple truth.

No need to convert and should practice their faith. One should realise that the Indian identity is Hindu and not Muslim, which is the identity of Arabs.

I do wish Muslims would be better neighbors, more willing to exist on an equal level with others.

And why does indian Hindus have soo much problem in tolerating their monority?? Why don't they just let them live freely and practice their religion like other countries?? why you want them to adopt hindu identity??

Hey be tolerant to your minorities, and live peacefuly with them, don't try to get them adopt other identity , as results would be dangerous, already sikhs are fighting for that, if muslims also started this thing then it would be realy difficult to maintain for your governament !!

Dear friend;; You seem to know a lot about eastern religions. It is true that a lot of eastern people practice more than one religion at a time. I just can't reconcile the idea of muslims merging with any peaceful religion.
