I like when I can put all my own stuff aside long enough to genuinely do something of value for someone else. I think this is because I feel a little sorry for all of us, stuck on this rock, bickering and practicing war and wasting time, so that when I can make a genuine connection with someone it's like we're saying, Yes. This is ok. We can do this.

My boyfriend does but my daughter is the best at it! She's only 16 but terrific with it!
She was devastated when her dad and I divorced, but now she'll tell me quite often that I'm a better person since leaving and she's glad I did because she likes me being happy!
If I'm going out she'll say how great I look, if I'm going to work she'll say how smart I look etc.

it's yourself. because you are the one who can create admiration, happiness and pleasure for people. consequently, you can earn good feelings about yourself from every body which is obviously better than getting it from a single person.

Myself. I believe in maself. I know ma short comings and my strenths and I always strive to be better than what I have acheived wih an appreciation that if I dont make it Ive given it my best short.
Therefore,I dont allow anybody to bring me down coz the dont understand me for the real me

She is so amazing, clever, cute and a real delight to be with that she makes me think, contrary to my usual opinion of myself, that I must have some good qualities in me, as she is after all half made of me!

If im down i usually listen to music which always makes me feel good about myself as when im listening to it i can close my eyes and let my imagination take over.

My great grandson.He's 14 mths old and couldn't careless if my roots are showing my sparetyres bulging and my wrinkles are wrinkling.He just loves me as I am.
