Is there a way to get a list of all the files on my computer in a single list?

Click on the start menu and then click on Search ... then look for "all files and folders" and then click on "what size is it?". Then you have few options and I would go with "specify size" and click on "at least" and then type in the kilobytes such as 10,000 which means 10MB. Then you click on search and you get your results .... all files on your computer with the file size of 10MB or above. And you don't have to type in the name of the file .... just leave it blank. It worked for me many times when I didn't know what files I have on my computer.

Go to my computer. Right Click on your main drive, probably the c: drive. Click on explore. Then under view customize it so you can see what the files sizes are, then click on the top of the file size column so it will list them in descending order. That way you can see.

Go to a command prompt (DOS prompt) and type "dir." That will give you a listing of files and subdirectories in the current directory, including their size.

go to my files, in the view menu chose list view and show details there you will see the size of each file

There is software that will show you a complete map of your hard drive.

Google "disk space analyzer"

Yes there are a few ways;
Sometimes I go to add, or remove programs to
see how big they are.
