because you're probably not interested enough to do it. school is a means to achieving your goal, which can be love of learning or higher education. so you have to find a goal which you reach by doing well in school that will keep you motivated and trigger your ambition. then you'll see how fast home work will stop feeling like a drag. good luck!

Because it's for a class for which you have no interest.
I always got so bored of science and math homework that I just quit, but I always always always did my German, French and English homework because it was fun.
Of course it's a bit late for this year, but next year try to get more electives that interest you.
