I would call an emergency room and ask them what dosage to give a 2 month old? contact your doctor in the day and relate your concerns. Are you sure your baby is not hungry. Some 2 month old babies drink 4 ounces of formula in each feeding. Does your baby drink 4 ounces or more of formula? If not try feeding the baby the correct amount of formula.

Try using a teething ring. Place it in ice water or the refrigerator so it gets cool. Then rub it gently on his gums. If you do not have a teething ring, use a clean cold wash cloth and rub it gently on his gums.
As for the tylenol dosage, you really need to ask your doctor. If he is not available you may want to try to call a hospital and see if there is a doctor on call that may be able to answer your question. They are going to want to know how much he weighs to give you the correct dosage.
You will have many more times like this, so it might be a good idea to go out and purchase some teething rings to keep in the refrigerator. You should get at least two. This way you will always have a cold one ready.

Do you know the current weight of your baby? Is there another doctor who is "on call?" Do you have orajell, or anbesol,? One thing that also may help, a washcloth (clean) that has been dampened in really cold water, rung out well (and maybe a little bit moist) and for him to chew on? Also, if you could put a teething ring (if you have one) in the freezer-that could help too. Does he have a "binky"? If you can also, while he is chewing on the one cold washcloth, maybe prepare and put another one or two in the freezer for a little while, that may help too. Please call the doctor as soon as you can-if there is one "on call"-great, or an answering service, nurse to call anytime. Otherwise, that's the best I can come up with for now. I feel for both you and your son. Teething is not a fun time. Wishing you both the best-take care.

I know it sounds horrible at this time of night, but instead of tylenol, I'd try baby orajel first, even if you have to go get it. Maybe the car ride would calm him down, but I'd really wait and ask the doctor in the morning, because he best knows your child's medical history, if he has any risk factors for allergies, for instance. Or call a nurse line, or the hospital maternity ward, someone with a medical license would best be able to answer it

If i do remember correctly its to the first Lil dropper line at that age, another thought is to call a 24 hour pharmacist... the ones by me are always helpful. But I do recommend that the next time you are out you by LIL' Teethers instead, its homeopathic which normally is not my style but seem to work way better since that specifically what it is designed for. another option get a washcloth damp and stick it in the freezer for a minute or two, it should numb him up well enough to get him back to sleep. good luck

You must be really careful about Tylenol--too much and you risk liver damage. Please call the doc now...someone should be on call. If there isn't someone on call then I would recommend getting another pediatrician who can give you support when you need it. Questions and emergencies happen outside of normal business hours and your pediatrician should be equipped to handle this, and encourage you to call whenever you need to.
Best of luck. I had an early teether too--it was rough! But it passes.

Try Hylands Teething Tablets. Usually you can find them at Walgreens or CVS pharmacys, they are an over the counter tablet that worked great with my daughter and we have one on the way in March and will be buying more. They are all natural and work wonders.

You can give him Hylands teething tablets, they are homeopathic, and they dissolve instantly, they are safe for newborns, they wont choke, and they will help him sleep. But if you are adiment about the Tylenol, I always gave my babies half of the normal dose.
