I had a c-section. When they took him out, he was sparkling clean! I saw them take him out of me and over to the table and there was NOTHING on him, it was crazy! Is this common? Or is it a c-section thing?

I have had 2 c-sections, and yes the babies can be pretty clean, and lots of times the doctors wipe the babies off so fast when they get them out that you never see all the blood. Blood is there and everywhere and the sections are most definitly a different birth because vaginaly there is lots of blood also but not as much as in a c-section.

must be a c section thing. maybe they took it right out of the fluid. Did your water break first?

I think all babies are drop dead gorgeous, and that goes double for your own.

Congratulations, mom!
