Hello, this is a great question. I will attempt to answer at the end. It sounds like you are at a crossroads in your life. God (Christian-Judeo) is letting you see the same thing that King Solomon saw in the entire book of Ecclesiastes in the bible. He was the wisest man on earth and he was a great king (his existence has been proven). He had hundreds of wives and girlfriends, the nations at his feet and immeasurable wealth. he educated himself and partied and drank and found that it is all meaningless. It is an excellent read. He and I realize that the truest purpose of man is to glory God by living for him in accordance with his will. In 2007 that mean you or anyone else must believe in Jesus Christ unto salvation and let him fulfill your destiny. The bible says in Matthew. "They asked Jesus, what work must we do to do the work that God requires" "Jesus said the work of God is this, to believe in the one who was sent (Jesus himself).

Since time immemorial, man has sought for answers to the mysteries of life. Who am I? What is the meaning of life? What is the purpose of life on Earth? Is there really life after death? What are the conditions of that life? And how do we secure it for ourselves?
Why is there so much suffering in the world? Why poverty, injustice, famine, war, disease and death? Why me? Where is the love of God? Every thinking man comes to ask himself these questions.
In answer, Jesus Christ spoke to the men of his time. He revealed the answers to all these questions and more; but because the people were not ready, he was largely misunderstood and misinterpreted. And much of the resulting confusion still exists even into our day and age.
However, we don’t have to remain ignorant and confused. We need only to go back to first principles, to the original answers given by Christ and then, work forward from there, in order to transcend all the conflicting interpretations and see things as they really are. But this time, instead of embracing half-truths and blind teachings, we should be discriminating and wise, guided more by the dictates of reason in the light of our vastly superior wealth of personal experiences.
I can suggest that you study the Bible and extract the answers from there. But there is a better way. Take a free study course on Jesus - http://message-made-plain.blogspot.com/

Lets don't talk about religion and God for a while. Since we've been born, what do we know about love? Nothing! If you say relationship or physical connection between u and other people, than thats not love. U must understanding the true meaning of love, until u love 'love' and become love. Its the subject that never going to end untill the day you die. And the challenging part, its both practical and theory subject.

No doubt it is, then already you have half the answer in your question itself.
The remaining half you try and will get (understand).
The life's meaning, understanding and requirements change with age among other conditions.
Childhood - Just play and enjoy
Youth - Learn and then earn.
Adult - Earn and marriage.
Mid age - Family life and work.
Old age - Peace and calm.
This is for the majority exception for very few at the highest. But then it is same for them also if we see broadly except for some fame.
Hence have a peaceful life and have your own ideas and convictions and follow them, irrespective of believing in god or not.
That's life.

This is a question that many people ponder. The absolute simple fact is that your job on earth is to carry on your species and your genes by procreating. Just as all animals do.
You also have a special place in the cycle of life not just affecting your self but all living things around you.
Everything else you do is up to you.

OK.I wasn't spose to say any thing but I feal it's time to let the cat out of the bag. After all I'm getting on in time and They haven't told me if there is a replacement lined up to replace me yet so I guess I'm on my own so I can pretty much say what I want .
There's only so much room for people who really count.if we were all Jonas Salk or Tom Edison or Bill Gates who would care or know what they did?. That's why most of us are here..we are decoys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Live with it and be in awe of those who make your life better.
PS: It's OK to join 'em if ya want but don't tell anyone I said that.

You cannont ask another being what is the purpose of your being. Because us beings are merely mortal and do not breathe the breath of life. The only way your question can be answered is by asking the source itself the Great Architect of the universe.
Although us humans expect our questions to always be answered through human logic and reasoning. You question may be answered by your coming to peace with your being on earth.

Well, Ecclesiastes would be an excellent place for you to look for answers. It goes along exactly with what you asked, and answers your question. It's not a really long book. I think you will enjoy it! Solomon, the wisest that ever lived or ever shall (human anyway) wrote it.
