It happens in the US all the time. People of different social backgrounds meeting and falling in love. But traditions in other countries often forbid this type of intermarriage. I believe in India, for example it is now allowed, but that many in the older generations still frown upon it. If marriages are truly spiritual unions, then I believe the physical social background should not forbid the union.

We should let them happen. Today what the world needs is tolerance and understanding between humans, and better to start at the youth level.
