You can first tell the sex at 12 weeks but usually the 'half-way' scan at around 18-20 weeks will be when u actually get to find out the sex.

Normally 5 months old sometimes four but not always. So around 19-21 weeks you can tell at your ultrasound which is normally when they schedule one to check the development and make sure everything is going good and normal and that there are no abnormalities they dont do ultrasounds just to determine the sex of the baby but they schedule the first one with the technician around that time which is why people find out then.

At 138 days, you're approximately 19 to 20 weeks. The gender can usually be determined if your baby cooperates. Your baby needs to be sitting in slighty indiscrete positions to catch a tell-tale sign of male or female gender. Certainly, the farther along you are, the more likely you'll see something of note, so if you wanted to hedge your bets, wait another month.
