I have been in a relationship for 9 years and now he is incarcerated for 3 1/2 years. I have found someone that I can be physical with without the emotional reprocussions. As long as I am safe, what do you think?

If you are going to cheat that makes you no better than any other person who commits adultery, cheating is cheating.
Break up with you S.O. and then your safe, unless your S.O. is cool with everything. then I say don't do it, you'll feel guilty as hell.

Muslims would tell you to send him a text message saying "I divorce you" three times, as that's all they have to do.
I say, follow your heart, but remember when your partner gets out, what you will do to them.
