why is it so socially exceptable for a girl to be bi but not ok for a guy? i am bi and every guy i have dated thought it was SO HOT. how come when 2 girls get it on people think it's sexy, but when 2 dudes get it on people think its "disgusting"?

most people i've asked have said it just seems more natural for women to be together. men tend to be more dominant and territorial thus they enjoy having more than one female(i.e. polygamy, harems, etc.). women are more emotional and have less problems being intimate (i.e. hugging friends, kissing on the cheek, touching in public) i think society has set the standards a long time ago. some of this may be biological and some of it may be sociological. many social trends have been broken before. this one just may take a little longer.

i've asked the exact same question to a friend last week...i've got a lot of gay friends and everytime they start sharing too much, others would go "ewww"...but when the topic of lesbians are discussed, you usually get "oooohhhs and ahhhhs"...
i guess it depends on the imagination of the outsider.

It's because I think that men tend to be more homophobic than women, I don't know why that is...just my opinion.
