It's 2:34am here...EST. You know, you should be happy you have insomnia. Some people would love to have that. It's the greatest cure for snoring. Ya know, a good cure for insomnia is to get plenty of rest. My friend is getting over insomnia too. Just the other day, his foot fell asleep. lol

oooh that would hurt I am in Australia in Queensland and the time is 5:37pm and its a warm evening we have the airconditioner going. Can't help you with what you've got but I know I sometimes think of something with rythm or beat and that is repetitive - something like an old grandfather clock going back and forth or punching in the air rythmicly, something really weird like that anyway. Sometimes putting an arm or pillow over my forhead helps because of the pressure sooths me or I wriggle my leg back and forth in a beat as if listening to a beat. Any way hope you can sleep soon sweet dreams.

2:35 AM. Try reading a book or a boring book. Taking a walk. Cleaning. Doing anything boring. Or lay in bed and think of wonderful memories. It is really hard for me to fall asleep too, and all I know is that, the more you want it the harder it is. My mom used to tell me to wiggle my toes and stuff and feel how relaxing it is. Just staying in bed helps because getting up constantly will not help you sleep.

ya im a ninsomniac too, it the same time zone actually. ive gotten used to it believe it or not, but there are nights when i just have to sleep....and i got your cure.
Melatonin 3mg tablets, they're sold in any grocery store or pharmacy. when ya need to sleep take one, you'll be snnozing in 30 minutes. plus these are non habit forming.
and by the way, you wont feel 'drugged' the next day either.
HOWEVER, if your taking any other sleep meds or mood stabilizing medicines, especially MAOI's consult you physician first.

I'm on Eastern time too, so it's the same time here than it is where you are. Have you tried any medicines for that? You know they make them, and now they are making them where they aren't habit forming.
