There has been no denial that in Ancient Egypt there were black people. Since it is on the content of Africa. The thing you have to remember is that not all people from one region look alike.

More over you are forgetting how close Egypt is to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iraq. Are you going to tell me that all these people are black too?

Trade and travel in that region along with the rest of the Middle East, Easter Europe and Africa have been document for Thousands of years.

Due to the lack of creditable evidence Tut's true identity is a mystery just like jack the ripper.

On another note, if you are judging whether or not Tut is black by the color of his skin upon his corpse then there is an issue with that. Over time Mummified bodies decay cause several effects one of which is having the skin turn black. In addition some mummies where treated with a black resin to help preserver skin.

So to conclude. Could Tut have been black? Possibly. Could Tut have been Middle Eastern? Unlikely but still possible. Could Tut have been Egyptian? Most Likely.

Egyptians are not black by definition they are Egyptians. Most often brown skined.

You have to remember that the Pharoahs had intermarried with other royal houses for a period; Cleopatra, for example, was more Grecian than Egyptian. While the common people were undeniably of a darker skin tone, the royals were held apart as gods.
One must also remember that while Egypt is dfinitely located in Africa, not everyone from Africa looks the same (like people from Europe). Different nationalities have different characteristics.
Oh, and a sideline on Jesus; to the person who mentioned Jesus being black: you're not suggesting he was white, I hope? If anything, he would've resembled modern-day Palestinians. No way, no how was he black OR white.

No they were not. I home school my son and we are learning about the people of Eygpt. Why don't you get your facts right? Are you one of those that thinks Jesus was black? By the way King Tuts grandmother was from Rome and had blond hair and green eyes.

no. ancient Egyptian distinct them selves in a clear way from nubians (black Africans) and Asians (Syrians and Iraqis). they used colors in artistic works. also the nose and the lips are clearly not black African.

as for king tut, it's possible that his grandmother was black from southern Syria, were Aryans, black Ethiopians, Semitic, Egyptians mixed together and produced Arabs and Hebrews. moses wife was black (kushian) according to the bible, but what happened to his two sons is a mystery! where did they go!

you are an idiot, i went to that show myself, what shows you he was black??? he was an egyptian, the same as current day egyptians, arabic in every way. the carved figures were often black but that didnt mean he was a black person. in fact they had great respect for the black race to the south of them and they were called nubians.
