The first night I slept over at my bf's house, after dating for months, he told me something odd. He said I looked so peaceful in my sleep that he felt it would be a crime to wake me. I asked him how long he was watching me, but he said it was just a glance. It's more than a glance if you are looking and thinking that along with other things. He's also said that I'm like good wine which I don't understand as I have never had a drink in my life. He makes sure I have money even when I don't need it and tell him. He's said he loves me a few times, but not much. He loves my children, that I know for sure. He is concerned about our age difference becuase I'm in my 20's and he's old enough to be my father. Is he serious and what does he mean by this, especially good wine? I am divorced and we met up again after years of being apart while I was still married. He told me "No matter who you marry and if you marry, you will always be mine". Stuff like that. What's up with him?

I'm insecure about my body too, but he likes to watch me undress and tells me he loves it. I have a c section scar and am very self conscious about it, but he doens't care. When I lost weight, he told me not to lose too much and grabbed my waist.

Your boyfriend sounds like he appreciates you very much and you should be happy. The wine comment refers to the fact that wine "ages" well, that it only gets better with time, it has nothing to do with alcohol I suspect. I've always personally loved watching lovers sleep. Especially for a male, who naturally feel protective of their women, it's not uncommon for him to see you asleep and vunerable and feel good watching over you. The comment he made about "you will always be mind" is either very romantic or a bit obsessive, but a little obsessive is okay if you're in a relationship, just be sure he doesn't go overboard.
I'm happy you admited that you have some body image issues, because, in my mind, it explains a little bit of why you feel the way you do. It may be hard to accept since you don't feel it yourself, but it seems like he loves your body and is happy. You may not see it, but try to accept it.

Sounds like he loves you just the way you are. That's a really good thing.

I don't think it's unusual for men to like to watch women sleep. It's not a creepy thing. You are at peace, content. It probably makes him feel good to see you that way, and in a small way that he helps you feel safe. That could be the thing behind the money thing too.

Also, he probably doesn't tell you he loves you much, because he's from the generation that didn't talk about their feelings much. It sounds like you like to hear it. Let him know that you'd like to hear it more. He loves you and he will tell you.

The "always be yours" line is a bit disturbing. If he wants to make sure of that then he should ask you to be his forever (propose marriage) and then it would be true.

Don't be too hard on him, it does sound like he loves you. Somethings may get lost in the generational language difference.

Sounds like he is deeply in love with you and feels as though he has that special soul-mate-like relationship or connection with you, (that statement pertaining to the "no matter who you marry" line). You also might want to consider possible psychotic behavior or obsession which could be dangerous or annoying unless you feel as though he is not a psycho. As to the "wine" line I think he enjoys the taste of wine and it brings him pleasure, like maybe enjoying a good meal or smoking a cigarette, comparing that being with you brings him pleasure.

Never heard the saying, "women are liek fine wine, the only get better with age"???

My ex used to watch me sleep, freaked me out kinda i woke up one night to her looking at me in bed. This can go both ways, sometimes love bestows a deep infatuation in another. We are vunerable when we sleep and its phyclogically apealing at times because we are at our most natural and maybe adorable when we sleep.

This guy either really cares about you, or is very obsesive, but to me it sounds like deep affection.
