According to a NYT article, "Despite the wishful prodding of admirers, Mr. Bush has adamantly ruled out a presidential campaign of his own next year, saying that he wants only to return to Miami with his wife, Columba, and their cat, Sugar."
In any case, people are not happy with G.W. Bush, so it's unlikely that his brother will be able to score high approval ratings.

Cause his name is Bush and right now the American people are a little upset with anything closely resembling or related to the Bushes including non-existent weapons, the possibility of a draft, Rove, Libby, Condi Rice, possible changes to the Social Security laws and in Jeb's case Florida 2000. In politics, it's a name game and for far too many voting Americans, the name Bush ain't exactly what they're looking for on Ballot 2008. However, the American public may very well look to Jeb further down the line after they forget and yes, the American public can be very forgetful.

The timing is wrong for Jeb to run, what with the libs calling for the murder of his brother, George. That is a hard spoon of hate to swallow, and folks would look down upon Mr. Jeb Bush at this time. If he does run, he is wise to wait. Obama, and Hillary Clinton is the best the dems can hope for as a candidate for president. If you are Republican I wouldn't worry about them, it is fairly certain, even the dems don't want a black person or a woman as a leader, yet. I am not opposed to either, a person who is black or a woman president, but too many others are, and I agree that neither Obama (his only experience is 2 years in congress), and Hillary Clinton (she being a commie dictator) have the right experience to be the leader of the greatest nation ever born. They will kill America.

He won't run because alternating order of the Bush/Clinton oligarchy cannot be broken. He will run after Hillary is impeached or voted out. If you doubt this system, check out how Bush spoke of 'ol Hillary in his "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton" sucession rant. If anyone was impressed with this nonsense, it's profoundly scary.

Jeb can't find his hat....(it's sitting on his big ol' head)
Jeb can't find the ring....he thinks it has boxers in it.
Jeb can't spell "president"
Jeb's daddy hasn't told him to do it yet.
Lord. I hope he doesn't "run" for president; he might think it is just a long jog.

When you elect a Bush or just about any Republican you are in fact electing a Corporate agenda disguised as a Political party.
