I've never tried Mac, but I'm not a fan of liquid makeup anyway. I use the new Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation and just love it. I like very sheer coverage. You might want to consider using an Oil Mattifier and Beauty Blotters as well as Oil Control Lotion from Mary Kay. They're all great products. Good luck with your decision!

Mary Kay 100%

The liquid foundation is VERY light and doesn't feel like your wearing a mask like most foundations do. Plus the liquid is nontransferable so it won't rub off on your clothes!!!!

All MK products are 100% guarenteed so if you don't like it then return it. You also have a consultant thru MK so they make sure the foundation color is correct and you like it before you buy it. AND you don't have to worry about foundation being put on your face thats been sitting out in a department store that anyone can walk up and run their dirty fingers through.

MAC breaks a LOT of people out.

I've never tried Mary Kay foundation, but the products I've sampled (a couple lotions) were highly fragranced, which is usually a bad idea with anything that's going to sit on your skin all day long.

I use this, and I absolutely love it: www.aubreynicole.com

~excellent coverage
~so much better for your skin (esp. if sensitive or acne-prone) than liquid makeup
~affordable ($6.50 for a sample pack of 2 foundations + concealer + powder
[ click: http://www.aubreynicole.com/store/home.php?cat=285 ]
and $12 for a full-sized jar of foundation...)
~amazing customer service! (and believe me, i've experienced bad customer service to compare it to...lol)
~i even got a couple free concealer samples with my order, and a free blush sample when she made a small mistake (on an unimportant part of my order.) =)

(I do like MAC eyeshadows though, and some of their brushes!)

good luck!
