Good or bad. Why some works, some not.

I am not quite sure of your question.
Many of my spells are for personal issues, which I see as being "good" as you would determine it. So, not quite sure where you were going with that incomplete statement.
As for why some work and some don't... the Craft is a practice. Sometimes our intent is not clear. Without a clear vision of what we want to accomplish, the spell is not going to happen.
If what we are asking for is against Universal laws, the spell is not going to happen. If we work with Deity, they also look out for us, and they may know that what we are asking for is not what we need or not in our best interests. So again, the spell does not work.
As a practice, like playing a musical instrument, sometimes we are very good at it, and we succeed, other times, we hit a bad day and the mix is not proper and it does not work.

All spells work...some just may not be what you expected them to be, and some may not be as strong as you wanted it. To be able to know WHY is simple. You may not have called on the elements (including the moon and it's current phase, deities, the mind may be distracted, wrong day of the week and or time of the day, you may not have the tools blessed like they need to be, wrong kind of incense, not using the earth, fire, water, air correctly). The elements control so much, and a spell is nothing more than a request for the elements to change outcomes.
This is nothing for people who do not respect nature to get into, because what you send out WILL come back around.

That depends on wither you are a White,Grey, or Black Witch
and how much will power you put into any spell.
But since the Witch's spell work and christian prayer have to go through the Creator. the rate is about the same.

Personally, mine work most of the time. And true "witches" or wiccans, eclectics don't believe in the "bad" spells. We believe the threefold law; whatever you give comes back times three.

SPELL- a prayer, or verbal direction of magickal energies
toward the accomplishment of some goal.
Just like prayers the only ones answered are the ones that are truely needed.

This is one reason the untrained and unsure need to follow formulas and prescriptions. It's a built in safeguard. It also depends on what mood the entity you are envoking power from is in. Folks with their own abilities channel energies directly and have no need of this gibberish.

there is no real definite finale to the spells I have introduced, they are perpetual whirling devices... so, as they grow... how will I know? It matters not. Desire for an outcome thwarts the flow.

witches are idiots. I only had to meet one of them in person to come to that conclusion.
