how can that's equation be solve for in the first place, your equation is incomplete. Equal sign is not satisfied.. anything can never be equal to nothing!!!

what is the other side of equal sign?
If it is zero , then the answers are a, b, c and so on since (x-a) =0 for x=a nd so on

(x-x) will be one of the terms, which is zero
Thus the entire product will be zero
