what do you hope to achieve in uk?what qualities do you posses that you think will be helpful in working with the elderly?

Its an OK country but I guess I am helping you with your immigration application. I posses no qualities to help me work with the elderly other than my rather average interest in people and their behaviour patterns. Don't put this on your form - you won't get in

I don't want to work or live in the U.K., but my wife does so I stay for now.

My wife works with the elderly as a carer - so I would say you need to be very patient (the elderly are not always understanding of young people, foreigners, or the opposite sex), you need to be prepared to clear up all their filth and clean behind them, you must also be understanding of their problems, you should also not expect a word of thanks - most of the old folk my wife cares for think it is their right to have someone to abuse.
