You have to remember that He ran against and defeated that acid tongue witch Ann Richards, so he was a slight improvement. Truth is, Bush was a pretty good Governor. What happened to him once he got to Washington is anyone's guess.

Bush is a southerner. Often southerners have a jilt in their speaking. It is part of the southern accent. I lived all over the south for many years, also in Texas for about 3 of those years, my husband also being from Texas, and myself have picked up the same accent. Don't put George, or any other southerner down for something they can't help. That would mean you suck, and are cruel.
Mr Bush has not changed, since he was governor of Texas. He let the men on death row die, as is just, for their crimes. One raping murderer, for example, who raped, and murdered his own 8 year old niece, FINALLY met his maker, SATAN, even after he begged Mr. Bush for a reprieve, and a DNA test. Mr. Bush gave him the reprieve, the DNA test, which proved the guy guilty, and then Mr. Bush granted him his death! Go George! Right on Babes! He did the right thing, as he is doing now. Anyhow, I wouldn't care if my president couldn't speak at all, as long as he did what was RIGHT!
Mr. George Bush has a masters degree in Business (the only president to have one), and a bachelor's degree in Arts.
Thanks SURECY, you understand.

That Jonathan Bush’s Riggs Bank has been found guilty of laundering terrorist funds and fined a US-record $25 million must embarrass his nephew George, but it's still no justification for leaping to paranoid conclusions.
That George Bush's brother Marvin sat on the board of the Kuwaiti-owned company which provided electronic security to the World Trade Centre, Dulles Airport and United Airlines means nothing more than you must admit those Bush boys have done alright for themselves.
That George Bush found success as a businessman only after the investment of Osama’s brother Salem and reputed al Qaeda financier Khalid bin Mahfouz is just one of those things - one of those crazy things.
That Osama bin Laden is known to have been an asset of US foreign policy in no way implies he still is.
That al Qaeda was active in the Balkan conflict, fighting on the same side as the US as recently as 1999, while the US protected its cells, is merely one of history's little aberrations.
The claims of Michael Springman, State Department veteran of the Jeddah visa bureau, that the CIA ran the office and issued visas to al Qaeda members so they could receive training in the United States, sound like the sour grapes of someone who was fired for making such wild accusations.
That one of George Bush's first acts as President, in January 2001, was to end the two-year deployment of attack submarines which were positioned within striking distance of al Qaeda's Afghanistan camps, even as the group's guilt for the Cole bombing was established, proves that a transition from one administration to the next is never an easy task.
That so many influential figures in and close to the Bush White House had expressed, just a year before the attacks, the need for a "new Pearl Harbor" before their militarist ambitions could be fulfilled, demonstrates nothing more than the accidental virtue of being in the right place at the right time.

You are asking this to show the world how much of a punk you are. That's exactly what you are too. Would you rather have muslims flying airplanes into buildings everyday without any response? Oh yes, you are a liberal...so that would be a silly question.

You might wish to check out this video to answer your question. There has been a significant change in Bush's speaking ability, in how he expresses himself, puts words together, etc. This video shows the difference 10 years has made. http://www.adbuzz.com/bushbuzz.htm

Yeah, I agree.
He does talk like one of those "gunslingers" in a cheesy western movie, doesn't he.
It's hard to believe that he's from New Haven, Connecticut.

is English your native language?
Texas is a republic as well as a state so his speech pattern is not typical...nor is his diplomacy....
It's a Texas thing that you will never grasp.
