It's not. It's a scam to get your personal information.

Just the regular normal SCAM mail. It is a total fraud designed to seperate money from you to them. They ask info on you and maybe your bank account number , so that way they can transfer the money from your bank to theirs before you know it. Or tell you that you need to send some money to cover expenses for mailing the check to you and insurance. Lazy, greedy, American people will fall for it. Yahoo has an address to notify Yahoo when you get stuff like this. Just go to the help section.

Then there is the Nigerian scam, where someone usually a hot looking female will tell you that their late father or relative died and has $20,000,000 stashed away. They found your name by divine guidance or your name seemed like an honest one (or a sucker name to them). They will give you a healthy cut, but they just need your Identification along with your bank account number. Sometimes they want a copy of your driver's license. Again, they want to transfer money all right. But from your bank account to theirs. If I had replied to all the scams and they were honest, I would be richer than Bill Gates. lol But again, the elderly, Americans usually fall for this. 60 minutes did an expose, and they secretly showed guys posing as women on the internet trying to con guys. I always tell them, let me see you on the video cam, but they never do producting excuses. Cuz they are guys.

PS. the 234 telephone prefix I think is Nigerian. lol

Looks like a scam to me. Did you enter into any lottery? If no longer, it's Phishing... Do not be fooled. If it got here from Yahoo! The historical past on the message can be blue(in your inbox list).

If it sounds too good to be true it is. Don't tell them anything they will send you junk mail.

Call Yahoo customer service not the number this scammer gave you and ask their opinion > I bet you $500,000.00 they will say it's a scam.

Yeah it looks real to me. I think all Yahoo personnel have Hotmail addresses. Just send him all your bank account information and see what happens. What could go wrong?

Don't even email them back. Erase it. Its any information you send them of importance could be used to steal your identity. It's a scam to get your money and personal information., and why doe's it matter if your married. If it seems to good to be true, it is.
