The Wow website (worldofwarcraft.com) has a troubleshooting page for downloading patches. They give very good advice. You could also call Blizzard technical support, the number is on the site. They were very helpful when opne of my guildies had a problem the other night (we were on Teamspeak, while he was fixing his problem.) You could also see if you can find another site to get the patch from. I know that in the past the various modsites have had patch mirrors, which make it easier as you don't have to deal with blizzard's downloader(which can be a little screwy). You might check worldofwar.net, or curse-gaming.com, those are the sites I've seen patch mirrors on, and maybe the WoW site will have a link to an alternate download spot.

I've had that happen to me, just let it sit there for a few hours and it usually kicks in. It took me about 3 hours to download the last 3 meg patch
