I am trying to download some ringtones that are not as wacky as the preloaded ones on the Q. I found a site from the UK that requires your phone to be WAP enabled. I have no idea! I sent the text message and thought I did it correctly but haven't had a reply...

Yes, it has WAP and WML via the IE browser built-in.

WAP refers to your phones capability to surf to special webpages designed for mobile phone users. It should have no impact on whether you receive a text message back or not which is SMS or MMS for pictures and ringtones attached to a message, which the MotoQ does both of those as well.
