Give yourself a kick in the but and slow down on the herbal remedies. Creating is only 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration so it sounds like yo are 10% of the way there.
The best way to achieve this is to create an artificial schedule for yourself and stick to it. I know, I know the artistic temperment is, well, tempermental and its hard to create spontaneously when you're not in the mood for it but thats what has to be done.

I believe there are many types of creativity and creativity can be used in many industries and in many forms.
Are you trying to use your vision for creativity in your career or as a hobby? Have you ever considered pursuing creative activities for relaxation and enjoyment. Just because the results of your attempted creative actions do not match your definition of a creative act does not mean it was not creative. It also does not mean that you cannot do it for enjoyment. When pursuing leisure activities it is important to remember that ends are not greater than their means.
Have you tried making a list of your strengths? Maybe focusing on things you are good at will help you move passed your vision for creativity. However, the fact that you have a vision for creativity leads me to believe you are more creative than you think. Is it possible that you are setting unrealistic standards for implementing creative ideas?
Hope this helps and also gives you something to think about.

Creativity takes many forms, it's certainly not limited to the fine arts.
Many of us couldn't draw our way out of a paper bag let alone hold a tune, however we have a creativity in us that is fulfilling.
Think of those who have 'green thumbs' those who volunteer or work with people [you are on the psychology section after all] these sorts of people are but a few examples.
Open your mind & you'll find your own 'creativity!.

Although people are creative, most creativity is temporary. This is because most people treat their 'creativity' as a fleeting, and therefore uncessary, experience.
People who actually engage in creative activities (writers, painters, sculptors) think of the activity as being 'essential', and thus worthwhile. For them not to engage in the activity would be the same as you deciding not to get up and go to work for the rest of the week.
One cannot begin to engage in a creative pursuit (or any pursuit, for that matter) by thinking of it as 'meaningless'. Those thoughts of it being 'meaningless', 'inconsequential', 'unimportant', 'worthless' are actually what impede its implementation. Think of your creativity as being 'vital' and 'necessary' for your existence and you will find the energy to engage in it. The more necessary you consider it to defining who you are, the more you will feel the need to engage in its creation.

Many people feel that they are creative, but as a wise person said, creativity is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. So, if you're not willing to sweat a bit, you are not going to produce anything.

Everybody daydream. It's you just daydreaming if you aren't doing actual 'creating.'
