No, starting to date at your age will help build character, integrity, respect, and maturity. All of these things mean that you have to be smart enough to balance school and social life. Balance the friends and afterschool activities---and still find time to date. Millions of kids all over the world start dating at about your age. Please go slow and be careful. Sex shouldn't be a part of dating until you understand what sex is supposed to signify to each partner. Always choose respectful, courteous, boys to date. be responsible for yourself and remain cool ..take it slow--learn what a fun date should and should not be. If the boys cause you to slip in school ---work on raising your grades---school will be essential for your future.---the boys can wait. This is a mature attitude and a responsible approach on growing up. Have fun, be nice and good luck---SMILE

No.
In my opinion, high school years are the best time to start dating.
The key is to not expect anything serious to come of it and just try to have some fun.
If you aren't concentrating on finding true love or "the one", you are more likely to find him/her but don't let it be your top priority.
Concentrate on your schoolwork and other activities, be true to yourself and the rest will follow.
Good luck.

its not wrong but i told myself i would not date until i got out of high school to focus on school. i think that having a boyfreind when your a fresh, soph and junior is a waste of time because you know your not going to be with them. only a few survive.

Boy friends and friends who are boys are both healthy.

Just enjoy and keep your pants on. Quick sexual gratification has LONG term effects.
