The best scene was the sex scene between Helena and (can't remember Alex Hedison's character's name) in 3x08. To bad they messed up that storyline. Like they do every other storyline. But I still love 'em.

I love the L word. I am very addicted to it. I watch it every Sunday then I watch the play backs during the week. I have all three seasons on DVD and watch them over and over again as well.
Alice is also my favorite because she is so damn funny.

Im addicted to it as well. I wouldnt hardly be paying for sorry a.ss Showtime if the L Word wasnt on. BUT...i do agree that the characters are getting more psychotic, and its kinda disappointing me. The lesbian community is NOT that unpredictable and wacked out. I've been in a stable 2 yr relationship, still going strong, without any breaks, drug rehabs, cheating, cutting, etc....
I still love ths show though. I take if for what it is. Entertainment. And Shane is hot. :-)

I am addicted too but don't count me for rehab!The show does not air in my country (Greece) and most certainly never will,so I have to get it from the net and I can hardly wait!For me every episode it's like 45' of escaping the real world I live in and landing in utopia!For me the best scene was in episode 2x01 when Bette opens up to Tina in front of everyone in the Planet and asks for forgiveness...Don't know why but her trembling voice and sad eyes get me every time I watch it!!!

I personally dont care for it. To me it makes it out like lesbians cant be committed and faithful. They all have screwed around on their girlfriends. How about having a committed couple that actually love and respect the person they are with? We do exist.

i know i do/did! i cant help it! it is soo effin addictive!
anyway, i have a queer female friend who HATES the l word.
she hates it because everyone on the show is a lipstick-lesbo... theyre trying sooooooooo hard not to be stereotypical that it makes is so unreal.
and the females use such odd dialog-- like, "i know youre ovulating today, lets find a sperm donor." weird, unreal........ i dont like it either. QAF was much more superior- but of course, most everyone, except for mel and lindsay, had penises...

And the really ironic thing is SHE started watching it first, then got me addicted to it...now she doesn't care for it, and I can't help myself! LOL
