Luck is unpredictable or non calculative. Why we say Luck. When someone gets something without putting any efforts. Best example as if I buy a lottery ticket and got a good prize money, what all we say is luck.

Fate means what is written for someone. No one can change his/her fate. Because we all don't know what will happen next. Simply no one can confirm the outcome of his/her efforts. Just do it.

Well... luck is when you spot a ticket for a 30 million sweep by chance on the road, pick it and later the number is declared winner. Fate is when you have collected the money and are returning home and get hit and run by a cargo truck!

Lol, they are just the two forms of the same phenomenon which brings things into our life without prior reason. When its good, we say luck. If bad, we describe it as fate. In Hinduism, they say that the amount of luck and fate in your life is controlled by the karma or deeds you have done in your previous birth.

But I, for one, think that it all depends on our thinking. They say that chance favours the prepared mind. So, if you are laden with positive thoughts and determination, dont be surprised if you have a lot of luck in your life.

From my perspective – there is no such thing as luck, but we do create our own fate. If I live a life on a self-destructive path, should I be surprised if I find myself in very bad predicaments? If I changed my self-destructive patterns, should I be surprise that my life is more secure?

If I got into my car one night and ended up in a side impact collision because of a drunk driver, was I unlucky? Well, if we looked at the circumstance in full, we will see that both the drunk driver and I left at the perfect time and drove at the perfect speed to end up in our perfect predicament. Unlucky… no. The final expression of a thought manifests itself visibly. Have you ever thought about something constantly and like magic – the very same thing that was a thought is staring you in the face? Thoughts are the foundation for everything that we see on all levels, from subtle to obvious. Your completely original artwork started with just a thought. Being that energy creates thought, thought has a vibratory signature… If thought has a vibratory signature then anything that is vibrating on that same frequency will come together. For that thought to visibly manifest itself there must be the perfect conjunction of time, place and condition. You see if I never left the house when I did, the accident would’ve never happened. If the driver of the vehicle didn’t drink, the accident would not have happened. Circumstances set up situation and it is our final decision that brings about results. Luck / Fate – it’s choice. If we analyzed what our frame of thought was that lead us into the situation that we end up in, we will better understand how to better situate ourselves. If I said that I got into my car that night because I had a fight with my wife and I wanted some time alone, would the situation not be different? What if my wife and I were having a lovely dinner at the time my accident was suppose to happen – was it luck that kept me in the house? Our choices and frame of thought creates what is to come. Luck is nothing more than our limited perspective on something that happens.

Luck, fate, karma are all inter related, and toopics that cannot be easily described in full here.
In this world, we have to carry out all actions useful for humanity, with out thinking about the fruits of our actions (results), and in any case we have to be ready to forfeit the fruits.
Secondly, we have to carryout all actions as if we are in need of the fruit.
We reap what we have sown, sooner or later, we may not know when the payoff comes. Always we have do good and correct actions.
We are also responsible for not doing any action (sins of ommision), when action was needed, like some one is suffering and dying near us, and we ignore them. Luck and fate are only the payoff, or fruit of our previous actions.

... In Bad Times!!
when you run out of time.. with an exhausted body and mind.. and out of reasoning... you console yourself and accept your Luck / Fate.

... In Good Times!!
All well when goes well.. It's an advance receipt, for the bad days ahead!!

Luck / Fate are non existent!!

luck enters in a rather mysterious behavior. when luck is with you, nothing can stop you. all goes well and smooth. unfortunately when bad luck and misfortune hit, no matter what you do, bad happenings embrace you in a very unwelcoming manner.

luck is the combination of earth or Qi and your energy Qi clash at certain time. you don't have the control over the earth's Qi, because the earth's Qi is controlled by the star constellations. fortunately you have control over your own Qi.

To illustrate further, E=mc2. energy and matter are intrchangable under certain condition.which in turn will increase the chances of manifesting thoughts to its physica equivalence.

but we often look so long and so regretfully
upon the closed door, that we do not see the one which has opened for us. -- Alexander Graham Bell

Luck is a circumstance that may or may not help you.
Fate is the outcome of that luck.

Good Luck / Good Fate:
Dr.Abdul Kalam, in the year 2002 made a miraculous escape when his helicopter crashed in north east india. That is good luck. The result he is still alive and doing good works for India.

Good Luck / Bad fate:
In 2000, there was a attack on parliament, all MP'S escaped which is good luck for them (and bad luck for us), as a result they are still destroying the nation.

Bad Luck / Good Fate:
Sourav Ganguly was dropped from the team on direction of chappell. The fate he has returned to the team with more fire, he looks a more good man than what he was earlier.

Hey I already answered this question. Lucky me... got a cahnce to earn points.

Whatever you get from life at any instance is luck. It could be good or bad. You typing the question suggests that you were lucky enough to post it and me typing in this answers suggests that you are lucky again.

Luck has a lot to do with your own acts as well as your surroundings. These are the two factors that can decide your luck...

When we wish good luck to someone, we are actually conveying him/her a message that may he/she be wise enough to make his/her decisions and may circumstances support him/her....

So my friend........ All da best with your luck........
