You get what you pay for... There are all sorts of free virus programs but the definitions change daily. You have to update often and the "free" programs don't offer updated protection in my experience.

Try Avast basic version, its good you will get one year Free supscription when you register(Free Registration) and once registration expires after 1 year register again and you will be sent with a new key. it works perfect on my system.www.avast.com is the link, Serila key will be sent by email once you register.

I like and use AVG free. Have had it on 8 of my computers for the last 3+ years. Works well.

AVG is good
but want a cool ANTI VIRUS use AVAST! I use it.. especially its WARNING SOUNDS!!! COOL!!
Install it first after installing run the AVAST then it will prompt you to enter the registration key
click register
it will link you to their site..
register there using your Email add
then they will send the key to your email
its good for 1year
if your registration expires then renew it... ALL for FREE...
try it...

AVG is what i use. you can download updates for free daily.It has worked fine for me.you can get the program at download.com
